Hey Alopecia Patients: Read this Enlightening Issue Alopecia Wigs

September 24th, 2009

Most rarely believe it, since my wigs don’t look out of place they don’t think anything of it, but it is a fact I compliment my outfits with wigs to regain my look. I’m Larissa Crolley and this is the Fargo Fashion Quarterly. Would you guess that my fashion advisor didn’t recognize me after returning from Europe. That’s the blessing of lace wigs. My wigs look no less than professionally vibrant. I will surely to express that I couldn’t see things as I do today, as a successful woman, without my wigs.

Here’s the story, Five years ago before my college graduation, I was diagnosed with an ailment which practically called for womens wigs. It induced a great deal of worry. Even so, of course the unfortunate circumstances of my appearance were not even in the same league of crises. It’s a reality, I have babies to feed and a thriving design studio to run. It hadn’t yet come to me that even the strongest gal must pay great for herself to succeed.

So guess who went with the promise of feeling better and made an office visit with an MD friend of mine on the matter of handling my bald head. I showed up considering hair transplants, quite frankly. As he confirmed that discreet women’s human hair wigs might take care of my hair shortage, even then I continued being cynical about wigs. Now I’ve become a wig consultant for my friends, gifting my experience for women in tough times. Take it from me, a well-versed wig believer. The key women might take home, is that eventually, even your husband won’t even see you’re wearing a wig.

Get Skinny Quick to Go on that Special Date

I can show you a very easy advice that can be one of the best ways on how to lose weight fast for you - really!

If you are dieting, make sure to not only build muscle, but also to maintain any muscle you might already have. When you finally get thin, you will feel really well and defined. You need to be losing fat and not dropping off muscle. Remember, one pound of fat is 3500 calories. So, in trying to lose one pound of fat, you need to be dropping off 3500 calories.

Very important too, is that you Consume some protein with every meal you Consume. Muscle is actually protein, so by eating more protein you are saving your muscle mass. Your body needs protein, so by you giving it protein, it will take the protein from your food, instead of using the protein in your muscles.

Youll be more accountable for the food that you Eat if you keep a log of everything that you Eat on a daily basis. Simply carry a small notebook with you and write down the foods that you consume. Youll be less likely to have that extra latte if you know youll put it on record.

Staying well hydrated is known to increase metabolism and hence burn off more calories. It is also necessary to keep your muscles hydrated when exercising in order to effectively build muscle. If youre seriously in it to get thin, then you will be exercising regularly and breaking a complete sweat, so keep hydrated, and its good for your body too.

There is a great selection of supplements out there to supply weight loss support in the form of appetite suppressant, increased metabolism, or reduced fat absorption. Illustrations of weight loss supplements include Fucoxanthin, cider vinegar, and hoodia gordonii.

When given the opportunity to walk to the store or to run errands, select walking over driving. That extra traveling time can be seen as being put towards your workout time. This is also the environmentally friendly option.

Ellen Tracy Sportswear Hiatus Does Not Interfere with Designer Eyeglasses Production

September 10th, 2009

Ellen Tracy Eyeglasses

Ellen Tracy Eyeglasses are increasing in momentum as a serious fashion accessory. Although it appears that Ellen Tracy plans to take a reprieve from the sportswear department, sales and support of the brand have not tapered down. Specializing in beautiful silhouettes and luxurious textiles, Ellen Tracy is a perfect example of classic American style. At the center of the Ellen Tracy aesthetic are classic looks combined with unparalleled quality. Presently owned by Liz Claiborne, Inc., Ellen Tracy was named after a imaginary woman by brand founder Herbert Gallen. The name was a way to reflect the intensions of the brand. Herbert Gallen wanted women to instantly identify with the label, and that starts with a recognizable name that they can trust.

Polished and refined, Ellen Tracy eyeglasses reflect the classic American style and sensibilities of the apparel collection. Known to the women who wear it as structured and natural, the line of Ellen Tracy eyeglasses embraces the dichotomy that exists in women everywhere. There are simple, yet complicated designer eyeglasses that allow for a woman to remain unnoticed. Then there are also eyeglasses that are more brazen and allow for a more outgoing personality to naturally be the center of attention in any sized crowd. Ellen Tracy has a pair of eyeglasses that make a good match with any of these types of women.

The Real Reason Women Wear Makeup

September 9th, 2009
girls and their make up

I’m a hypocrite. I loathe makeup, and will even vocally denounce it, but in public I still put it on. Why? It’s because it comforts me, makes me feel more confident, and reassures me that I look presentable. I think the fashion industry and media want you to believe that makeup is an enhancement, but I think the real reason women wear makeup is … let’s hear someone else first:

Why do women wear makeup?

“They might wear it because they want to hide unattractive features, or they might wear it because of societal pressures. Keep in mind that pretty has become the new average, which can be viewed as good or bad. It may not give you such an accurate picture of the woman’s true condition, but it allows more men to become involved with beautiful women.” -Alex

Close! Fear of being the only one in a room without makeup. Fear of being singled out. Fear of being exposed. The last thing a woman wants is to solely be judged for their outward appearance, or even worse be compared to other women who are wearing make up. But we women know that this happens, so we continue to spread on foundation, apply powder, use eyeliner, and incessantly refresh our lip-gloss.

To women who say wearing makeup is a choice, I say you’re drinking your own kool-aid. If a woman is made to feel inadequate for not wearing makeup, of course she chooses to put it on! I find men to be especially guilty of this argument - no one really judges them for going out looking like they rolled out of bed. Whatever choices they make are accepted and even celebrated. One even gets a good chuckle out of it

When women choose not to wear makeup, they’re thought of as misfits of society, anarchists, or man hating shrews.

Celebrities without makeup?

Or in the case of female celebrities, they are turned into mockeries. The paparazzi catch them in situations when they’re unadorned, and then parade those pictures in publications across newsstands and blogs all over the internet. Headlines and captions scream out how frightening they look without their professional stylists and makeup artists working on their faces. The supposedly most beautiful women in the world turn out to be nothing but painted on faces that don’t really exist in the real world.

And guess who reads those magazines and develop a poor sense of self-worth? Young girls. Young girls who then are taught that the last thing they want to happen is to be caught without their best face on; to keep searching and trying on all sorts of skin care products. And thus the cycle begins again.

Yes, makeup up has existed for thousands of years. But we need to look at society today to really expose the reasons why women wear makeup. Until we tear down this construct and take back the choice of putting on make up, we will still be doing it out of fear.

Human Hair Wigs: a Bonding Experience with Mother

September 3rd, 2009

Perhaps due to my stubborn nature,
I never imagined my style would rest on well-constructed lace front wigs for beauty. It’s not unusual, I can still remember my mom making up her iconic Marge Simpson hair style, which resembled a stack of wigs, on the way to school. Her locks were supernaturally became her most positive feature, and she knew how to make it bounce. She could suppress its powers, no matter who they were. She had no need for wigs. As a child I dreamt I too could do my hair in such extravagant styles.

But, certain things are a far cry from those you dreamed of as a young girl. Wigs are now a part of my life, and I enjoy how low maintenance they are! Here’s the story. A short while back, I began losing my hair. It was medical hair loss when I was diagnosed with a rare cancer. My specialist thoughtfully advised I look at synthetic lace wigs. Instead, my initial coping instinct to make things get better was to cry and call my mom, Cindy.

I figured this might not go well, due to the fact she can be aloof especially when it comes to hair fashions. I realize how she cares for her hair, but the grass is always greener on the other side. So, I asked her looking at
women’s wig in a few weeks. I made up some fib to get her to go, ignoring the wigs situation. I made her think that we were only there to experience a great summer afternoon of shopping and lunch.

During the meal I got around to bringing it up about my need for wigs. I was nervous, but she locked eyes with me and something changed, my mother broke down and said she had lace front human hair wigs! From that moment she took me under her wing to find true human hair wig to match my personality. You can’t imagine my that fear was one of many. There are a great deal of websites comforted me to realize I’m not alone.

Being a strong woman and writing in my blog had started to be my rocks each time I look in the mirror. I am beautiful and that’s the truth everyday I wake up.

Fundamental Recommendations in Picking out Professional Hair Products

August 26th, 2009

Ah, the endless disputation over professional and ordinary hair-care products. In the past, this disputation was resolved handily with a famous quote, You get what you pay for. Nevertheless, due to the arrival of low-priced Professional Hair Products and pricy common products, the contrast that parts the 2 has now lately turned unrecognizable.

Previously, a bottleful of shampoo in a beauty parlor would simply cost you $10 while you will merely give a few dollars for the common ones. Today, however, you can expend equally or more on a bottleful of shampoo from your local department shop as you can for a bottleful from the beauty parlor. The reason behind that this is so is because most professional product lines have not risen their terms in years, while other shampoos and conditioners being introduced to the simple market have been rendered packaging and price labels to mirror their in-beauty shop rivals.

The main indicator that would sort the 2 categories will now be the standard of quality that each class performs. Just think about it this way: All products made to be employed in beauty salons by professionals can only be sold in beauty parlors. That signifies that the products must be of the fullest quality. If they werent, cosmeticians just wouldnt apply them. You can never find or see a professional product that will leave hair feeling brittle and dry. In addition, professional shampoos will not remove or lessen moisture and colour. So if you can take these professional hair products in any store, what would block professional hairstylists and beauticians from doing the same?

While not all common products are bad, you do run the risk of selecting a product that could result to troubles like build up, dryness, breaking, color fleeting, stillness, frizziness and a legion of other troubles. That implies that if you pick out to use a non-professional product, you should watch carefully your hair intimately to look for any adverse results.

Due to the considerable savings we acquire in buying common products as compared to professional hair products, doing so is highly encouraged. It is also encouraged that one should not expend as much on a non-professional product as with a professional hair product that produces warranted outcomes.

After all that’s been said and done, the choosing of what to purchase is a conclusion you have to fix on your own. It is optimal to prefer a product that attends to both designs of making savings and at the same time render high quality effects.

Get this! Some Notes Touching on Botox Sydney

August 23rd, 2009

Sydney Botulinum therapy (Botox for short) is now essential amongst Sydney’s stylish crowd and has become a beauty routine must for many in Sydney. But I never fail to be amazed when I hear the ludicrous misconceptions surrounding the routine procedure.

I have listed below some of the more common stories frequently encountered at Star Cosmetic Medicine located in Pyrmont, Sydney.

Misconception # 1: I won’t have the ability to express emotion normally!

Under the skin of the face are about sixty muscles. The excessive use of these muscles over time may cause wrinkles. When excessive Botox is injected facial expression can occasionally become too relaxed. Generally physicians use relatively small quantities to will result in you looking less tired, but still you will maintain your normal expression.

Thus the proper amount of Botox in the appropriate place means one can get a smoothing of the lines without any reduction in facial expression.

Misconception # 2: Botox is a toxin!
This to some extent is true. Its medical name is Botulinum Toxin Type A. An overdose can loosen facial muscles that you do not want loosened or can even cause sickness.

Chemists have a famous expression that states ‘everything is a poison - it all depends on the dose’. Every drug will make anyone very unwell in large amounts. Water can be a poison if you take enough.

Misconception # 3: It will hurt!
Your hairs are larger than the needles we use at Star Cosmetic Medicine. Numerous individuals have stated that the injections are not worse than being bitten by mosquitoes. It for certain is less sore than a procedure like a vaccination.

Misconception # 4: My face will be numb!
Untrue. Botox works on the neuromuscular junction, and not on sensate nerves. Just the ability to relax your muscles is impacted by Botox.

Misconception # 5. You cannot stop getting Botox otherwise the wrinkles become worse!
Also untrue.

B.tox is believed to last for up to 3 months. Any further treatments after the first one normally last a few weeks longer. Gradually as muscle strength builds up again the lines will slowly reform. However they will definitely not be any more pronounced than before.

In fact any lines should be be softer than if you hadn’t undergone Botox treatment - even should you don’t repeat the therapy. Due to the fact that your skin has had a ‘wrinkle holiday’ when the treatment was active.

Visit and take a gander at this splendid page for Sydney Botulinum injections advice.

What Is QMed?

July 28th, 2009

Q-Med, a developer, manufacturer, and marketer of medical implants, has created a new non-animal-stabilized-hyaluronic acid that has revolutionized the cosmetic surgery industry. This new technology, known as NASHA, has been patented by the company for use in a majority of its products made all over the world. With head offices in Sweden, Q-Med injections have developed this new technology to provide patients seeking collagen injections with longer-lasting effects than more traditional means. Whereas traditional hyaluronic injections use animal fats, this new tissue filler is able to be produced biotechnically with bacteria fermentation thus eliminating skin testing, the spread of disease, and allergic reactions.

While the majority of Q-Med’s products are sold in Europe, their technology is quickly making its way to North America and Asia. Cosmetic surgery using NASHA technology can be found among Board Certified plastic surgeons such as Dr. Alan Kingdon in London or Dr. Mary Powers in California. To learn more about the benefits and risks associated with new medical technology always speak with a Board Certified Physician. In the United States local cosmetic surgeons can be found using www.boardcertifiedplasticsurgeons.com ; in Europe look into the European Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. After locating a surgeon, ask about what types of enhancement procedures they offer and whether or not they use animal derived fillers. By using certified cosmetic surgeons and NASHA you can be assured a safe, effective enhancement procedure.

Fashion Industry and Wholesale Fashion Accessories

July 18th, 2009

The downturn in the economic system has given us all a fashion rethink. It’s already been well commented that the recession has to a great extent affected the fashion industry. Although recessions come and go, this recent recession we’re in is going to have a prolonged impression on what we think of fashion. We are living in a very pragmatic age now. It used to be that frivolity and decadance were part and parcel of the fashion industry - nothing was too overpriced or too excessive. - you only worried about being accused of being too boring. Now though the fashion catwalks and fashion labels are getting bad publicity. Even looking at the the more affordable labels, suddenly they’re under fire for manufacturing in foreign sweatshops. What went wrong? Why is it that the public are turning against fashion brands ?

Not at all. We humans love fashion, and forever will. It is imprinted in our minds to identify new styles! In point of fact, looking on the web there is stiff competition between online fashion sellers (e.g. searching for wholesale fashion accessories) - a sign there is still a great need for fashion. It’s the old way we viewed that is dying - of being dictated to by the established brands. In reality, fashion has always followed the public rather than vice versa, and today many matters are stopping us buying from big brands. Firstly, people are now a lot more conscious of globalisation, and showing off your clothing labels can give the impression you are egotistical and inconsiderate in certain circles. Second, it’s the economy, stupid! Fashion has invariably been a luxury, not a necessity. In an economic downturn, non-essential items are the first to be left on the shop shelves. Finally, individuals express themselves a lot more individually nowadays - groups of friends are a lot more tightly knit, we no longer associate ourselves as being part of large groups, and fashion requires that kind of groupthink to trade in numbers.

What is the future for fashion brands? Like always, they must adapt to survive - create a wider range of clothing lines to supply to more corners of the market. If you’re a boutique shop offering individual clothing at a cheap cost, you have a strong business model despite the grim economic days we are experiencing. These days, individuals are mixing their styles, purchasing from markets and more personal, affordable fashion stores.
